The English Manner is a unique British-based company providing international training and consultancy in contemporary etiquette, protocol, the arts, social skills, household and event planning.

Founded by Alexandra Messervy, formerly of the Royal Household of Her Majesty The Queen, in 2001, The English Manner gives worldwide personal development, cultural, hospitality and social skills training to an international clientele of all ages.

The English Manner incorporates the etiquette training side of the world-renowned Lucie Clayton Finishing School.

We have four main areas of expertise: etiquette & protocol tuition, household management, unique travel tours & programmes, and event management.

Our senior tutor William Hanson visited Shanghai and Chengdu in March and April to teach British dining etiquette, luxury customer service skills, deportment & interpersonal skills and much more.

We were delighted to launch our Middle East Academy at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Dubai on Tuesday 5th February 2013. Our founder Alexandra Messervy FRSA, formerly of the Royal Household to Her Majesty The Queen, entertained guests to a traditional British afternoon tea.
