Etiquette for Businesses & Organisations
The English Manner excels in corporate etiquette and protocol training for the travel, hospitality, and retail sectors, and has worked with international businesses, hotels, oil companies and management consultancies, who recognise that their strengths lie in the interpersonal skills of their staff.
Many companies, both large and small, offer training courses in various spheres, but rarely does one hear of studies in good manners being high on the agenda. Yet in this day and age, with high-flying executives climbing their way up the corporate ladder at the speed of light, it is an area of importance that can get forgotten until it is almost too late.
Our business protocol and etiquette seminars attract professionals from a wide variety of fields, from international banks and management consultancies to relocation companies and high-net-worth retailers; companies whose products are essentially the same as the competition, where one to one contact with the client is the defining difference.
Our stellar knowledge has also been tapped by High Commissions and Embassies, keen to make sure their comprehension of international protocol and social skills are up-to-date and polished.
A large majority of our courses for businesses & organisations are bespoke and we rarely give exactly the same seminar twice as each client requires something different from the next. However, we do run some set courses and these are listed on this page as and when they are running.
Learn how to outclass the competition with The English Manner.

A recent case study...
Client Multinational legal firm (London office)
Brief To train several newly appointed executives in international business protocol & dining etiquette and nuances throughout the world
Action A two-day crash course for the three executives held at the firm’s offices and a London restaurant. The session was lead by one of our top tutors and was interactive and informative and the executives came away with the skill-set and knowledge of how to conduct polite business on a global level. The seminar focused on conducting business in Asia (particularly China).
Testimonial “I was reluctant at first as I felt that I already knew everything I needed to know about conducting business but the two days provided me with an eye-opener into realizing that different countries do business in different ways and things that we would consider commonplace are often highly offensive in some countries. Thank you for a great day.”
"Whether for the corporate sector or for individuals, our up to date programmes focus on the key elements needed for individuals to out-perform the competition. Business today demands that we distinguish ourselves from the competition..."
