"WE HAVE TRIED TO RECREATE, AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE, THE CONGENIAL ATMOSPHERE OF AN ENGLISH COUNTRY HOUSE PARTY"

ALEXANDRA MESSERVY, FOUNDING DIRECTOR OF THE ENGLISH MANNER

PRIVATE, CORPORATE AND INCENTIVE TRAVEL

Our one-of-a-kind travel programmes allow our guests to experience the best that Britain and parts of Europe have to offer, combining private tours and exclusive accommodations with tutorials led by Britain's political, cultural and artistic elites.

For outdoor enthusiasts, The English Manner offers select adventures in shooting, fishing, golf, and other active pursuits.

The English Manner provides accommodations and dining in the finest private homes and estates and, on occasion, exclusive country house hotels. We arrange all transfers and accommodation for the duration of each programme, ensuring that guests enjoy the wonder of Britain, rather than the hassles of conventional travel.

Air travel is priced separately for your convenience in coming to and returning from the UK for those travelling from abroad.

All group sizes are strictly limited. Your travels and informal study of English culture and the arts can be combined with tutorials in gardens and design; interiors and architecture; antiques, porcelain and fine art; needlework and tapestry; or advanced cookery and wines.

A discerning clientele currently combine travels with informal study, sometimes for the purpose of executive retreats, brainstorming or teambuilding exercises - or sometimes simply to have a luxurious vacation with a difference.

Whether our guests travel alone or with friends, the congenial atmosphere of our small groups is conducive to the formation of many new friendships.

Lecturers and tutors are drawn from the the very best in their fields, including the Lady Pulbrook Flower School, Penelope Hobhouse, Margaret Murton, and Royal Vintners Berry Bros. and Rudd.

TRAVEL AGENTS INTERNATIONAL

We have a dedicated team of travel consultants, Travel Agents International.

TAI is a full-service agency, specialising in unique and deluxe travel.

Established in Richmond, Virginia since 1984, we are delighted to have a very close relationship with vendors Brooks and Ruth Bowen and their team, who collectively have been to every country in the world except two.

TAI consultants work with The English Manner to ensure that the administrative details of travel are taken care of, from health insurance to baggage loss claims. They offer very competitive airline and cruise ship rates.

All of our travel programmes are designed by Alexandra Messervy and each is tailored to our clients needs and individual preferences or desires.

Throughout the journey, our guests are taken care of; every detail is covered, every comfort anticipated, and groups are small and exclusive.

Only the best will do for guests of The English Manner.
