A CELEBRATION OF 60 YEARS OF THE REIGN OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II

Windsor Castle, The Queen, Westminster Abbey

The English Manner are pleased to announce a unique Royal Jubilee tour to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, in 2012.

Just a young girl when the untimely death of her father propelled her onto the throne, 2012 will mark the 60th year of the reign of The Queen. Here is our invitation to you.

This programme will be personally guided by Alexandra Messervy, former member of The Royal Household of Her Majesty The Queen, with other experts joining parts of tour along the way.

Tour highlights include:

Guided tour of Westminster Abbey by Franki McCabe.

Visit to the Royal Savill Garden and Windsor Castle, with a special exhibition to commemorate the Jubilee: 'The Queen, Sixty Photographs for Sixty Years'

A day at the home of the most senior Royal Courtier, the Lord Great Chamberlain at Houghton Hall, one of the finest examples of Palladian architecture in England, and a spectacular five acre walled garden

Private dinner at a very special home nearby joined by Nicholas Merchant, an expert on Royal History and artefacts, who will talk on the Royal Collection and Sandringham House

A visit to one of the most special retreats of The Queen and her family, and the place where her beloved father, HM King George VI died, at Sandringham House

Lunch at the ancestral home of The Queen’s cousins, Luton Hoo and a specially guided tour of Woburn Abbey, home of one of our premier Dukes, accompanied by our fine art and English furniture expert, David Fletcher

Join in with the Official Celebration of the Diamond Jubilee and command the best possible views of the processional route. Her Majesty will sail down the Thames in a gold encrusted royal barge at the head of an unprecedented flotilla as part of a glittering water pageant to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee. This once in a lifetime event complete with fireworks and water cannons, will be the highlight of an extended weekend of events to mark 60 years of Her Majesty’s monarchy. It is set to be the most extravagant spectacle stated on the historic water since the reign of King Charles II.

The 7.5 mile long flotilla will take between 60-90 minutes to pass any given point, passing Westminster Abbey and the Palace of Westminster and on to Tower Bridge, where The Queen will disembark to watch the rest of the pageant from the riverbank.
1000 ships will take part and the flotilla will travel at a speed of four knots. The bascules of Tower Bridge will be raised in salute as the monarch sails past and up to one million people are expected to line the river bank, watching the pageant and also on 50 strategically placed video screens.

Join invited guests for a Private Dinner at a very special Members’ Club and watch the Royal Fireworks Display

Finally, a private tour of the magnificent home and gardens of the More-Molyneux family at Loseley Park. Connected to Sir Thomas More, a long term confidante of King Henry VIII who spent much time at Hampton Court and locked into debate surrounding the marriage of Queen Catherine of Aragon.

Farewell Reception and Diamond Jubilee Celebration Dinner as a commemorative end to our special programme.
